We provide service in the community related to the following important child health problems. Philanthropic giving allows us to expand this mission.
- Appropriate nutrition for young children
- Opportunities for physical activity and safe places to play
- Pediatric consultation to schools
- Aiding students from low-income and minority backgrounds to enter the health sciences
- Helping families with a special needs child
- Assisting young people at risk for HIV/AIDS
- Support for our educational mission to train physicians in child development and behavior
