PEDIATRICS RESIDENCY PROGRAM

Application Information

Thank you for your interest in our program! Applications to the Pediatric Residency Training Program must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). All applicant interview invitations will be sent electronically through ERAS.
To apply to our program, the following documents are required:

  1. Personal statement
  2. Dean's letter
  3. Medical school transcript
  4. USMLE Step 1 (Via ERAS) and Step 2 (must be reported through ERAS prior to the Match) scores. We will accept COMLEX scores in lieu of USMLE for osteopathic students.
  5. Minimum of three (3) letters of recommendation (applicant's choice, Department Chair's letter is optional)
  6. NRMP Number
  7. Completed ERAS Application Form

Application deadline is November 1st of recruitment year.

Visiting Clerkships

Medical students interested in serving a clerkship/elective at UCSD please contact Ms. Adrianne Edwards in the office of Undergraduate Medical Education via email: a1edwards@ucsd.edu for application material and more information. While we thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to meet all of our visiting students we cannot guarantee an interview to each one.
